The foundation is the last building element under the Shell tab in the NEAT audit software. In this lesson, you will learn how to enter audit data for the home’s foundation. You will need to know the following information about the structure:
Foundation type
Floor area and existing insulation R-value
Floor joist size for the sill
Sill perimeter
Foundation wall height and perimeter
Insulation R-value for the existing foundation wall
And other data
